He's everything you want. Smart, accurate, has speed, and good feet ... The only knock on him is that he hasn't played a lot. But here's how good he is: He is the only quarterback to beat Oklahoma, Nebraska and Texas in the same year, and did it over a six-game span.
'Dontari is the kind of guy that the smartest scouts and coaches in the world miss on,' said Gil Brandt, former vice president of player personnel for the Dallas Cowboys, now the main analyst for NFL.com. 'I think he's one of those guys you roll the dice on.'
If you draft him, he'll start for about 20 years
If a kid appears coachable, and (Poe) appears to be, then you can always coach them to do things better ... But I don't think you can coach a kid to be a better athlete and run faster.
That shows you the difference between then and now
With that position ... sometimes we project what we want to see.
I think eight to 10 years ago, that was a valid thing
I think with Andy Dalton and Cam Newton, you saw it last year how it is beneficial to play right away
We got a lot of good guys (out of small schools)
I think you are going to see Penn State with a really sophisticated passing game ... I don’t know if he has the quarterback in camp now, but he will find one to run his system.
Look, the Big Ten is a disaster in bowl games ... I would say it’s been a gradual shift in the last 10 years, but the SEC has won the last five or six championships. Over the last 10 years, Miami and USC lead with 50 players drafted in the top 150. Ohio State is third with 46, and LSU is next with 39, f...

I think the problem is that there are less players in the northern states
I think [Penn State] made a great selection ... O’Brien is a good coach, and he got a good offensive coordinator. He has put together a good staff of coaches, and I think they will do a great job.
I guess they didn’t recruit the right players
Some guys just rise to the occasion
There's always some mistakes made
Every draft is about the same
There are lots of wide receivers in this draft; the smartest thing in the world I think is to pass the wide receiver early
Tannehill’s got everything physically you need to be a quarterback
I think you have to reach, because the QB is so much more important to you now
Jeffery was probably catching a few passes and blocking him a few times, and you get frustrated. That's what happens ... I'm not sure why at 2 o'clock in the morning you're out and what provokes you to punch a police officer.
It doesn't help the kid any
I don't remember this kid having any problems before – at least that I knew about - but it'll probably cost him a round in the Draft
Blackmon is a smaller version of Michael Irvin ... He'll catch that slant. He will run after the catch. He is strong.
